Biffy Clyro
Biffy Clyro ist eine schottische Rockband, die in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, gegründet wurde. Die Band besteht aus Simon Neil (Gitarre, Leadgesang), James Johnston (Bass, Gesang) und Ben Johnston (Schlagzeug, Gesang). Anfangs spielten sie einen aggressiveren Stil, aber ihr Sound hat sich weiterentwickelt und Elemente aus Alternative Rock, Alternative Metal und Post-Hardcore integriert, oft gekennzeichnet durch komplexe Songstrukturen und dynamische Wechsel. Sie haben bedeutenden kommerziellen Erfolg und Anerkennung von der Kritik erreicht und sind zu einer der bekanntesten Rockbands Großbritanniens geworden. Ihre Musik ist bekannt für ihre Mischung aus melodischen Hooks und schwereren, experimentelleren Passagen.
