Abbath is the black metal project of Norwegian musician Olve Eikemo, formerly of the legendary band Immortal. Formed in 2015, Abbath's music is characterized by its icy, war-themed sound and dark fantasy lyrics. Their debut album was released in 2016 through Season of Mist, cementing Abbath's status as a leading force in the modern black metal scene.
