At The Gates

At the Gates were formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1990 and are considered pioneers of melodic death metal. Their album "Slaughter of the Soul" (1995) is a landmark of the genre and influenced countless bands of the Gothenburg sound. After reuniting in 2007, the band led by vocalist Tomas Lindberg continues to release new music.
