Counting Hours are a melodic doom/death metal band from the greater Helsinki area (Vantaa), Finland, formed in 2015 by guitarist Jarno Salomaa Petrushevski and vocalist Ilpo Paasela. The lineup includes musicians also known from Shape Of Despair, Rapture and The Chant. Their sound has been described as melancholic Finnish doom/death metal in the vein of Katatonia.
