Martin Barre is a British guitarist best known for his long tenure with the progressive rock band Jethro Tull, from 1968 until the band's dissolution in 2011. He is recognized for his distinctive guitar playing style and contributions to Jethro Tull's signature sound. After Jethro Tull went on hiatus, Barre embarked on a solo career, forming the Martin Barre Band. He continues to tour and record, performing both his own material and classic Jethro Tull songs. His band showcases his guitar prowess and allows him to explore different musical avenues within the rock and blues genres.
