Mr. Hurley und die Pulveraffen are a German pirate folk-rock band from Osnabrück, active since 2009 and rooted in the medieval and folk scene. With humorous lyrics and sea-shanty-inspired folk instrumentation, they have played festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and Rockharz. Albums like "Tortuga" (2017), "Seemannsgrab" (2021) and "Leuchtturm" (2023) reached the upper ranks of the German charts.
