Ragnarök (IT)

Ragnarök is a Viking and Nordic folk duo from Verona, Italy, formed by the multi-instrumentalists Alessandro and Davide, whose backgrounds lie in Irish traditional music and in metal. They set traditional Scandinavian songs — sung in Icelandic, modern Norwegian and Old Norse — alongside their own compositions, and weave in recited passages from the Poetic Edda. Reconstructed Viking-age instruments meet modern and digital elements on stage. Their album "ERDE" appeared in 2025, the same year they won the Goldener Zwerg folk award.
