Sarah Lesch is a German singer-songwriter who accompanies her songs on guitar and ukulele. Born in Altenburg in 1986, she grew up in Baden-Württemberg from the age of five and trained as an educator in Tübingen. Her father, Ralf Kruse, is a musician from Leipzig — the city where Lesch lives and whose label Kick The Flame has released her records since 2016. Her discography runs from "Lieder aus der schmutzigen Küche" (2012) through "Von Musen und Matrosen" (2015), "Da Draussen" (2017), "Der Einsamkeit zum Trotze" (2020) and "Triggerwarnung" (2021) to "Gute Nachrichten" (2024) and "Poesie & Widerstand" (2026). Her lyrics pair personal storytelling with socially critical themes, placing her among the defining voices of the German-language singer-songwriter scene.
