Schmeisig is a five-piece acoustic cover band formed in 2005 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, reworking well-known songs from Kölsch folk, Irish folk, country, punk-rock, metal and techno using cajón, banjo, bouzouki and guitars. They call their own music "Musik zum Biertrinken".
