Babymetal are breaking genre boundaries once again: the remix of their single "from me to u" (featuring Poppy) has been transformed by Major Lazer into an electro-dancehall version. An additional remix by Jordan Fish is also included. Both tracks appear on the deluxe edition of "METAL FORTH," dropping June 26, 2026 via Capitol Records.
Love it or hate it — Babymetal have spent years fusing metal with J-Pop and now EDM while maintaining a massive international fanbase. The pairing with Poppy, who herself oscillates between metal and pop, makes surprisingly good sense here. If you want to catch them live in 2026: they hit the Rock am Ring stage on June 5 — one of the most unusual acts on the lineup.
