The crossover legends from Münster are back: H-Blockx released their eighth studio album "FILLIN_THE_BLANK" on March 6 — their first since "HBLX" in 2012. Fourteen years of silence, and now 32 minutes of pure adrenaline crossover across eleven tracks.

The Album

"FILLIN_THE_BLANK" arrives via Solitary Man Records and sounds like a band that has finally found its way back. Frontman Henning Wehland: "We spent 30 years trying every other path, and now we understand that this is our DNA." Pre-release singles "Straight_Outta_Nowhere" and "Corns_About_2_Pop" previewed the high-energy mix of rap-rock, alternative and punk that made H-Blockx famous in the '90s. Standout tracks include "Come Clean," where Wehland openly addresses his recovery from alcohol addiction, and emotional closer "Timeless."

Early reviews are positive: Twilight Magazine awards 13 out of 15 points, praising the "organic hip-hop metal songs with head-nodding potential."

Live in NRW and at Major Festivals

Following the sold-out release show at Zeche Bochum on March 8, H-Blockx head to the big festival stages: Rock am Ring (June 6), Tollrock Festival (July 11) and Wacken Open Air (July 29 – August 1). If you want to see them headline a club show, hurry — the 2025 club tour was completely sold out.
