Metallica Drop Massive 'ReLoad' Reissue: 15 CDs, 4 DVDs, 29 Hours of Content

Metallica unleash their 1997 album 'ReLoad' in fully restored deluxe form on June 26, 2026 via Blackened Recordings — remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering with Greg Fidelman overseeing. The limited deluxe box is one of the most insane reissues of 2026.

What's Inside the Box?

The remastered album on 180g double vinyl, the "The Memory Remains" 7", the complete 'Live At Ministry Of Sound '97' as a 140g triple LP — plus 15 CDs of previously unreleased riffs, demos, rough mixes, B-sides, and live recordings. Add 4 DVDs with behind-the-scenes, studio footage, the legendary pop-up performance at the CoreStates Complex parking lot in Philadelphia, and a 128-page hardcover book with unreleased photos. Memorabilia: Rorschach test cards, tour laminates, pick set.
