Motionless In White x Corey Taylor: 'Playing God' Opens New Album 'Decades'

Motionless In White announce their seventh studio album 'Decades' for July 17, 2026 via Roadrunner Records — and kick off with the lyric video to lead single 'Playing God'. Guest vocalist: none other than Corey Taylor of Slipknot.

'Playing God' takes aim at toxic internet culture. "The Internet has gotten worse and worse, until only negativity, hatred and lies are at the forefront," says Chris Motionless. "Social media was supposed to connect — all it does is divide." Taylor backs it up with his trademark rage — a ferocious track that signals exactly where 'Decades' is headed.

"Definitely Heavier Than Anything Before"

According to Motionless: "Decades is definitely heavier than some of our past albums. Our current world bred more aggressive energy, anger, and resistance." Beyond Corey Taylor, the album features guest appearances by singer-songwriter Skylar Grey and Anthony Martinez (Dark Divine).
