Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter – Exclusive Headline Show in Cologne

The chemistry is right: after Frank Carter took over vocals for the Sex Pistols in 2024 and proved himself a legitimate frontman at the Royal Albert Hall and Download Festival 2025, the momentum continues. Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock have announced an exclusive open-air show at Südbrücke in Cologne on July 5, 2026.

The Only Headline Show in Germany

According to Visions, the Cologne gig is the only headline show by the Sex Pistols in Germany alongside a handful of festival appearances – including Tollwood Festival in Munich (July 6) and Save The Core in Nuremberg (July 4). The Südbrücke venue in the Poll district, right by the Rhine, provides the perfect open-air setting.

50 Years of Punk

2026 marks the 50th anniversary of punk's legendary year zero – 1976, when the Sex Pistols inspired the formation of Joy Division, The Smiths and Buzzcocks with gigs like the famous Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester. In December, the band celebrates the anniversary with the "Anarchy In The U.K. Tour" across UK arenas in Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London.

Tickets

Tickets are available via Eventim. Given the demand for previous shows, they'll likely sell fast – if you want to experience "Anarchy In The U.K.", "God Save The Queen" and "Pretty Vacant" live, act quickly.
