Bleib Modern

Bleib Modern was founded in the mid-2010s, originally as a project by Phil Läufer and Vinz Eberlein from Bamberg, which later grew into a Berlin-based quintet. The band's music combines post-punk, shoegaze, and cold wave, characterized by stoic drums, guitar sounds with reverb and delay, and the vocals of Phil Läufer. On their 2024 self-titled album, the band integrated German lyrics as well as synthesizers and samples into their sound for the first time.
