CORPSEPAIN

CORPSEPAIN is a project from the Alzey/Worms region in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, founded in 2003 by "Black Ö von Frankenstein" (Markus Liebel), playing self-described "Grimm Metal" – dark metal with lyrics built around sagas and fairy tales, partly based on the Brothers Grimm. After several line-up changes, the band has consisted since 2020 of Der Grimm (vocals, guitar), Die Grimmwitch (drums, keys, backing vocals) and Der Werrolf (bass), supported by guest musician Der Grimmbart (guitar). Releases include the albums "The Dark Saga of the Nibelungs" (2005), "Horror Circus" (2010) and "Grimmgeflüster" (2022).
