Dazzling Killmen formed in 1990 in the St. Louis, Missouri area, blending hardcore punk with jazz-inflected, complex song structures. Released through Skin Graft Records, their albums "Dig Out the Switch" (1992) and "Face of Collapse" (1994) preceded the band's breakup in 1995. In 2025 the band announced a series of reunion shows.
