Fossilization is a Brazilian death/doom metal duo from São Paulo, formed in 2020 by members of sludge/death/doom outfit Jupiterian. Signed to Everlasting Spew Records, they've built a cavernous, old-school death metal sound weighted down by slow, oppressive doom passages across releases like Leprous Daylight and Advent of Wounds.
