Hackedepicciotto

Hackedepicciotto is the duo of Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten) and Danielle de Picciotto (co-founder of the Love Parade, formerly of Crime & The City Solution), formed in 2010. The artist couple, married since 2006, combine Hacke's bass, guitar and drums with unusual instruments such as hurdy-gurdy and autoharp played by de Picciotto to create atmospheric, largely acoustic soundscapes. After years of nomadic touring life they settled on the outskirts of Berlin.
