JÜRGEN KERTH

Jürgen Kerth, born in 1948 in Erfurt, is a German blues guitarist and singer. He founded the Rock & Blues Ensemble Kerth in 1967 and the Jürgen Kerth Quintet in 1971, which later evolved into a quartet and trio. In 1999 he received the Cultural Prize of the City of Erfurt for his life's work.
