Mark Reeder, born 1958 in Manchester, moved to Berlin in 1978 and has lived there ever since. He served as Factory Records' German representative, promoting bands such as Joy Division and New Order, before founding his own label MFS in 1990 and helping launch the career of Paul van Dyk. He has produced and remixed for artists including New Order, Depeche Mode and the Pet Shop Boys, and was the central figure in the 2015 documentary "B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West Berlin".
