Children of Bodom Return – For Good

What was planned as an emotional farewell is becoming a permanent comeback: Children of Bodom announced their permanent reunion on March 10. After two sold-out tribute shows in Helsinki in late February, where Samy Elbana of Lost Society took over the guitar and vocal role of the late Alexi Laiho (who passed in 2020), the response was so overwhelming that the band decided to continue.

Elbana, himself a recognized shredder and frontman of Finnish thrash metal band Lost Society, brings both the technical virtuosity and the energy that define Children of Bodom. The band plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album "Something Wild" (1997).

For fans of melodic death metal and neoclassical shredding, this is one of the biggest news stories of the year. European tour dates outside Finland are still pending – but when COB come to the region, you'll hear it first on KRACH. 🤘
