Lamb of God aren't slowing down. "Into Oblivion," the groove metal icons' tenth studio album, drops March 13th – and the title says it all. Across ten tracks, Randy Blythe and co. deliver what early reviews are calling their most ambitious work yet. Songs like "Parasocial Christ," "Sepsis," and "The Killing Floor" promise exactly the blend of brutality and groove the Richmond, Virginia outfit has been known for over two decades.
Frontman Randy Blythe makes no secret of the album's political charge: "We're heading into oblivion... particularly here in America. Things are acceptable now that would've horrified people 20 years ago." The band channels that fury into tracks like "Bully" and "Devise/Destroy," while "El Vacío" and "A Thousand Years" explore new sonic territory. The album drops via Epic Records and Century Media.
For fans in Germany, there's one must-attend date: August 3rd, Lamb of God headline Haus Auensee in Leipzig with a monstrous support lineup of Thy Art Is Murder, Bleed From Within, and Fit For An Autopsy. No NRW headline show is currently planned, but summer festival appearances aren't out of the question.
In North America, Lamb of God kick off their tour March 17th with Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg in tow. If you want to experience "Into Oblivion" live, mark that Leipzig date – with this package, tickets won't last.
