Placebo are celebrating 30 years in an unconventional way: rather than a best-of compilation, Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal have reopened the original master tapes of their legendary debut album to create a "Director's Cut." "RE:CREATED" drops June 19, 2026 via Elevator Lady Ltd/AWAL, presenting the songs as they have evolved through three decades of live performance — rawer, more mature, more intense.
The accompanying 30th Anniversary Tour features exclusively material from their first two albums "Placebo" and "Without You I'm Nothing." On November 2, 2026, the band plays Lanxess Arena Cologne — the only NRW date. Tickets available from March 25.
