Placebo are a British alternative rock band formed in London in 1994 by vocalist Brian Molko and bassist Stefan Olsdal. The band rose to international fame with their androgynous aesthetic and hits like "Every You Every Me," "Pure Morning," and "The Bitter End." They have released eight studio albums and remain one of the most influential alternative rock acts of their generation.
