Schattenmann are back with full force: Their new album "Endgegner" drops March 13th via PERCEPTION (Reigning Phoenix Music) — and the Oberhausen industrial metallers have clearly leveled up. With a visual makeover and a noticeably heavier sound, they're making a statement: No more flirting, this is a knockout punch. Twelve tracks spanning from brutal NDH bangers like "Unmensch" to the euphoric anthem "Echo" to the Ibiza-influenced "Alter Ego" showcase impressive range.
The advance singles have already built serious anticipation: "Kein Kommando" premiered at M'era Luna, followed by "Besser als der Rest," "Kamikaze," and the irresistible "Schna-na-naps." The full tracklist reads like one continuous kick in the teeth — from "Endgegner" through "Einen Scheiß muss ich" to "Gelegenheit macht Liebe," there's no filler in sight.
The absolute highlight for NRW fans: On release day itself, March 13th, Schattenmann play a release show at Kulttempel Oberhausen — with special guests Böse Fuchs. If you want to experience the album live for the first time, this is your chance. And if you miss it or can't get enough: They follow up at Luxor Köln on March 27th. Two NRW dates in two weeks — it doesn't get better than that.
With "Endgegner," Schattenmann prove they're not resting on past success. Harder, more versatile, more uncompromising — this album could be their strongest yet. They'll also be hitting the Amphi Festival in Cologne on July 26th.
