3 miles to Essex

3 Miles to Essex is a Berlin-based project by Volker Rechin (vocals, guitar, bass) and Sebastian Demmin (keys, samples), joined live by Robbie Schuller (guitar) and Laurenz Breuer (drums). The name references the pirate station Radio Caroline, which once broadcast from three miles off the English coast. The band released their debut EP "Caroline" and supported Fury in the Slaughterhouse and Thees Uhlmann in 2023.
