999 are a London-based punk band formed in 1976, pioneers of the first wave of British punk alongside the Sex Pistols, The Clash and The Damned. Founded by singer-guitarist Nick Cash (previously of Kilburn and the High Roads with Ian Dury) and guitarist Guy Days, their classics "Emergency", "Homicide" and "Feelin' Alright With The Crew" remain punk staples. Over 15 studio albums — most recently "DOOM: The Album" (2020) — and tireless touring keep the class-of-'77 sound alive.
