Acid

Acid is a Belgian speed metal band formed in 1980 in Bruges. Fronted by vocalist Kate de Lombaert, they were among the early European pioneers of an aggressive, riff-driven metal sound, with their self-titled debut (1983) and follow-up "Maniac" (1983) laying groundwork for what would soon explode worldwide as thrash metal. After a long hiatus, the band returned to the stage with new releases via High Roller Records.
