Ak'chamel

Ak'chamel, also known as "The Giver of Illness", is an enigmatic duo from Houston, Texas, whose members have never publicly revealed their identities. The band blends found sound, psychedelic folk and avant-garde elements into lo-fi, ritualistic music performed on self-made instruments such as broken spike fiddles. Their live shows feature handmade costumes and masks, and they have released numerous cassettes, VHS films and several vinyl LPs, including on the French label Akuphone.
