AKD

AKD are a punk rock trio from the Oberpfalz in Bavaria: Jak on guitar and vocals, Franky on bass and Luki on drums, all three singing. The band has played stages across Germany, Austria and Poland since 2006, supporting Dritte Wahl, ZSK, Jaya the Cat, CJ Ramone and Toxoplasma among others. The lyrics are political and socially critical — against hate and far-right agitation, for diversity and solidarity — delivered in a Bavarian accent with a healthy dose of humour, and the set makes room for Biermösl Blosn covers. Several studio albums and compilation tracks mark the way, among them “Klar zur Wende” and “Alles auf Hoffnung”.
