a/lpaca are a quartet from Mantua (Mantova), Italy, made up of Christian Bindelli (vocals, guitar), Andrea Verrastro (bass), Andrea Fantuzzi (keyboards) and Andrea Sordi (drums). The band fuses driving, hypnotic psych-rock with krautrock repetition and garage energy, channelling the motorik pulse of Can and Neu! and the spacey textures of Pink Floyd alongside the modern garage-psych of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Osees. Their records have appeared on labels including Sulatron Records, Sour Grapes Records and the We Were Never Being Boring Collective.
