AMOR & DIE KIDS

Amor & die Kids is an East German rock band founded in 1985 in Leipzig, emerging from the group Süd-Rock. Founding members were Frank "Amor" Schüller (vocals), Tobias Künzel (drums, vocals), Mario Rostenbeck (guitar, vocals) and Dirk Posner (bass, vocals). Their 1988 song "Komm doch mit" became an East German radio hit; the band split in 1989 after reunification and re-formed in 1994. Since early 2026 the band has toured again in its original lineup under the motto "The Bockwurst Returns".
