ASBEST

ASBEST is a rock 'n' roll power trio from Oldeholtwolde in the Stellingwarven region (between Friesland and Drenthe), the Netherlands. Frontman Jannes Scheltinga (vocals/guitar) performs with Roan Lichthart (bass) and Brent van der Meer (drums), writing original songs in the Stellingwarfs dialect, a Low Saxon variety with some Frisian influence. Their lyrics revolve around beer, women and tobacco.
