Astro Bloc is a Scottish-Irish contemporary folk band that formed after a late-night jam experiment at Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival. The lineup features fiddler Eryn Rae (BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Musician of the Year), drummer Paul Jennings, multi-award-winning instrumentalist Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín, and guitarist Gillie Ó Flaherty. Their self-titled debut album was released in January 2026.
