Atari Teenage Riot

Industrial

Atari Teenage Riot is a band formed in Berlin in 1992 as a reaction against the neo-Nazi-influenced techno scene, fusing anarchist and anti-fascist views with punk vocals and a sound coined by Alec Empire as 'digital hardcore'. Founding members were Alec Empire, Hanin Elias and Carl Crack; Empire also founded the Digital Hardcore Recordings label in 1994. After disbanding in 2000 and the death of Carl Crack in 2001, the band reformed in 2010 with Alec Empire, Nic Endo and an MC lineup and has performed live since.
