Au Pairs

Au Pairs were a British post-punk band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1978. The band was notable for its feminist stance, socialist politics, and danceable rhythms. Lesley Woods' lyrics often explored themes of gender roles, sexuality, and political disillusionment. They combined elements of punk, funk, and reggae into their sound.
