Beat The Drum
Rock
Beat The Drum is a tribute band dedicated to the music of the Scottish folk-rock band Runrig. The group describes itself not as a typical cover band, but as a celebration of Runrig's music and legacy. The idea was born during the 2020 lockdown when singer Richie Muir began sharing acoustic Runrig covers on Facebook. Their repertoire includes hits from Runrig's entire catalogue.
