Bijelo Dugme

Bijelo Dugme was formed in Sarajevo in 1974 and is regarded as the most popular and best-selling band of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Their debut album 'Kad bi' bio bijelo dugme' fused Balkan folk with hard rock and sparked what became known as 'Dugmemania'. After several lineup changes involving vocalists Željko Bebek, Mladen Vojičić 'Tifa' and Alen Islamović, the band disbanded in 1989, later reuniting in 2005 and again for a 50th-anniversary tour.
