BLACK MARBLE

Black Marble is an electronic music project founded in 2011 in Brooklyn, New York, by Chris Stewart, initially as a duo with Ty Kube. Since 2016 Stewart has run the project as a solo artist, often joined by session musicians live. The sound draws on coldwave and early-'80s synth-pop, influenced among others by New Order's Peter Hook on bass. Albums have been released on Hardly Art, Ghostly International, and Sacred Bones Records.
