Blasmusik Illenschwang

Blasmusik Illenschwang is a brass band (Blaskapelle) from the village of Illenschwang in Mittelfranken. It was founded in 1986, growing out of a wager that members of the local Posaunenchor (trombone choir) could learn to play a proper march within a year, and gave its first public performance in August 1987. The band's repertoire is Bohemian-Moravian style brass music, including marches and polkas.
