Blisterhead

Blisterhead is a Swedish street punk rock band that began touring on demo recordings in 2001, quickly gaining attention for their energetic live performances that blend the raw fury of punk rock with the showmanship of 1950s rock and roll. After signing with Italian punk label KOB Records in 2002, they released their debut album 'Punk Royale' in 2003, followed by 'Via Casilina' in 2004 and 'Under the City Lights,' which earned them MTV Nordic airtime. The band returned to their punk roots with 'Tumbling Down' in 2015 and released 'The Stormy Sea' in 2021, establishing themselves as respected figures in the Swedish punk movement known for socially conscious lyrics addressing themes like refugee rights and political injustice.
