Bluesbrauser

Bluesbrauser is a band formed in 1998 in the Pongau region of Salzburg, fronted by Alexander Reicher. They blend rolling, transparent blues with New Folk Music (Neue Volxmusik) and musical cabaret, sung in Salzburg dialect with wordplay and self-irony. In 2005 the originally six-piece band shrank to a mostly acoustic quartet. They placed 2nd at the 2008 Protestsongcontest with "I fiacht mi vor'm Friseur".
