Bobbies

The Bobbies are a beat and rock'n'roll band from Bremen (Oslebshausen district), founded in 1959 by Uwe Meseberg, who registered the name as an acronym for 'Boys Of Beat By International Electronic Sounds' with Electrola in 1965. The band plays 1960s/70s hits and original songs, including covers of the Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Beatles, and released three albums. They have previously played the Meisenfrei blues club in Bremen and have shared stages with acts such as The Equals, Hot Chocolate and the Tremeloes.
