Bokor

Bokor are a death metal band from Oldenburg, Germany, formed in 2017 by three native East Frisians who had previously driven the Oldenburg band Path of Betrayal. The band's name and concept draw on Haitian voodoo: a bokor is a dark voodoo priest who serves the loa spirits and can raise the dead. Their sound combines uncompromising guitar riffs, blast beats and double-bass attacks with alternating growls and screams. They have released the EPs "Phlebotomy" (2019) and "Shrine of Lies" (2021).
