Borknagar

Borknagar was founded in Bergen, Norway in 1995 by guitarist Øystein G. Brun, with an initial lineup drawing from Gorgoroth, Enslaved, and Ulver. Beginning as a progressive take on Norwegian black metal, the band evolved into a distinctive blend of black metal, progressive metal, and folk atmospherics. They have released twelve studio albums, including True North (2019) and Fall (2024).
