Brute Force and Ignorance

Brute Force and Ignorance is a Rory Gallagher tribute band from Münster, Germany, named after the song of the same name on Gallagher's "Photo-Finish" album. Since their 1999 debut at the international Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, they have regularly performed at Gallagher tribute festivals in Ireland, the Netherlands, England and France. Led by guitarist/singer Markus Kerkeling, the band has been praised by Rory Gallagher's brother and manager, Donal Gallagher. Since September 2019 the lineup has consisted of Markus Kerkeling (guitar/vocals), Björn Eilert (bass) and Marco Menzer (drums).
