Burnout Ostwest is a punk duo from Bremen, Germany, founded in 2020. The band consists of Felix Büttner, formerly saxophonist with the ska/soul band Schwarz auf Weiß and also active on synthesizer with Alltag, and Hannes Gehring, who also plays in Mercedes Jens and Team Scheiße. Their sound is lo-fi punk built around prominent synthesizers, moving between rave-punk, Schrammel-punk and post-punk rather than sticking to three-chord convention.
