Cancer Bats are a Canadian hardcore punk band formed in Toronto in 2004 by Liam Cormier and Scott Middleton, fusing hardcore, metalcore and sludge metal. Key records include "Hail Destroyer" (2008), "Dead Set on Living" (2012) and "Psychic Jailbreak" (2022). Several of their albums have received Juno Award nominations for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year.
