China

China was founded in 1985 by musicians from the Winterthur area and became Switzerland's best-known hard rock band in the late 1980s. Their first three albums reached the top 10 of the Swiss charts, the second went Gold, and the single 'In The Middle Of The Night' became an international hit that led to a European tour supporting Yngwie Malmsteen. The original members Claudio Matteo, Freddy Scherer, Marc Lynn and Hardy Hartmeier reunited with drummer Ralph Tosoni in 2021; for the Old Capitol Langenthal show, former vocalist Patrick Mason, featured on the album 'Sign in the Sky', appears as a guest.
